When we launched Unpublished, I knew it would take time. People would need context. We would have to explain it again and again. And that is exactly what is happening right now.

Some people understand it instantly. Some don't. We are having conversations every day. Clarifying. Listening. Tweaking. This is not some overnight success story.

This is the slow, patient part of building something that actually matters. And honestly, that feels right to me. Because Unpublished touches emotional work. It deserves patience.

We also didn't want to play the classic game. Make noise first, figure things out later. So most of the real work is actually happening after launch.

The team is reviewing submissions, refining categories, testing flows, and fixing tiny things that could confuse someone who is submitting their work. People are uploading ideas they once believed in deeply. If anything deserves careful attention, it is this.

One big update. Our timelines are now fully locked. Submissions opened on December 15, 2025. Through January and February 2026, people submit, people vote, and the shortlists start forming. By the end of February, submissions close, voting continues, and the jury takes over. In March 2026, we announce the first Unpublished winners in India. Simple. Predictable. No surprises. If you are thinking about sending something, the page is live on visitmela.com/unpublished.

The jury is also finalized. We will reveal the names soon. What mattered to us was intent, not status. We wanted people who value thinking more than polish. People who have actually shipped work, not just judged it. People who do not worship awards like religion. And people who understand creativity outside ad agencies as well. Because unpublished work is not only an advertising problem. It is about courage, timing, context, and taste.

Another piece we are working hard on is support. Real support. We didn't want Unpublished to just hand out trophies and disappear. So we have been building partnerships that can actually help creators. Tools that are usually expensive. Access to learning. Mentorship. Visibility that travels beyond one post. We are being careful here. No exaggerated promises. But if someone wins, something real in their journey should improve.

Unpublished was not built to scream that the industry is broken. It exists because great ideas should not die quietly. Some ideas died because budgets changed. Some because timing went wrong. Some because someone somewhere got scared. None of that automatically makes the idea bad. It just means it never got its chance. Now it can.

And watching creators slowly open up, share rejected work, and talk about it without shame, feels like the start of something meaningful. Not loud. Not dramatic. Just honest.

If you are thinking about submitting, don't overjudge yourself. If at some point you believed in that idea, let it breathe here. The link is simple. visitmela.com/unpublished. We will keep building. You keep creating. Somewhere in between, a lot of good ideas might finally get the stage they deserved.
